Detailed route description to B&B Haagse Bos
Our B&B is situated just outside the city center of Den Haag and is therefore easily reached both by car and by public transport.

We arrive by train

When you plan to travel by train, you’d best set ‘The Hague Central Station’ as your destination station (Centraal Station Den Haag).

By bus (nr.24) from Centraal Station
On the bus platform, situated above Central Station, take bus 24 direction Mariahoeve. The bus driver will sell you a ticket, valid for one hour.

Some four minutes later you get off at busstop Spaarwaterstraat, that’s in the ‘quiet’ part of the Theresiastraat.  You continue in the same direction (‘ chasing the bus ‘) along the sport field until you see on your left hand side a Chinese Takeaway. Turn left here,  into the Cornelis Houtmanstraat and soon, on your left, you will find our B&B on nr. 103.

You can easily plan your trip, from anywhere from within Holland with this link on the website 9292.nl.

Walking route from Central Station Den Haag

Exit Central Station by the side entrance on platform 12, some 30 meters to your left. There’s an exit tot ‘Rijksarchief’ and the ‘Koninklijke Bibliotheek’.
Walk along the ‘Centraal Bureau voor Genealogie’ (on your right) and follow the footpath between the buildings until you reach the Prins Clauslaan. Cross this intersection (you pass above a busy 4 lane highway) and walk for some 10 minutes by the cosy Theresiastraat until you see a sport field, annex play field. Shortly afterwards you take a left at the corner of the Chinese Takeaway, into the Cornelis Houtmanstraat. Soon, on your left side, you will find our B&B on nr. 103.

We arrive by car

By car (via the ‘Utrechtse Baan’) from Utrecht, Amsterdam en Rotterdam
Follow the A12 into The Hague and exit when you see a road sign with directions to ‘Centrum Zuid’ (exit 2).
At the end of this exit 2, at the traffic lights, go straight on (don’t go to ‘Centrum Zuid’).
Then at the next light, take a right turn into the ‘Theresiastraat’. This is a lively street with a ‘quit end’. Our B&B is situated near this quiet end. Still on the Theresiastraat, the moment you see a Chines Takeaway, turn left into the Cornelis Houtmanstraat. Our B&B is allmost immideately there, on your left hand (nr 103).

Free parking in the street in the weekends and on working days after two o’clock. More on parking near the B&B…
